This thread is for the feedback for the Single-player Campaign "Struggle for Freedom" (SFF) for the 1.16.x release and beyond. I have taken it in as its new maintainer/re-designer so, will be using this for any bugs, updates, etc.

Description

Follow the plight of the Eastern Elves during the time of Queen Ashievere's reign over Wesnoth. 506 YW.

Status
Available for 1.16.x. Latest Wesnoth version and latest dependency add-on version is recommended.

Hey OP, during the scenario Struggle for Freedom (the one where I start off in the prison cell and the guard comes to laugh at my protagonist) the protagonist's token doesn't show up, as in he's not on the map at all, and as soon as the cutscenes end I instantly get the "you are defeated" message. I do have a few mods active, but they haven't caused problems in any other campaigns, official or fan-made. Any idea as to what's going on?
I see two things here at fault. First is an oversight in my part where I did not account for anyone reaching level 4 with the leader this early. Second, you probably have some XP cheat mod since this shouldn't be possible (reaching level 4 this early). Either way, patched.
Replays
Noted all issues you mentioned. Patching them. Will also review replays to see where the "too easy" can be adjusted.

S04 has the narrator talk in the first person plural, saying "leaving the remaining elements of his army to die on our swords" instead of "their swords" or "the elves' swords". Also, maybe it should be "dwarves' axes" instead.

I checked the dialogue and remembered that the narrator for this scenario was Biaraelia as Uvollyn was preoccupied. Most of the story text is narrated by Uvollyn and 2 scenarios by Biaraelia. Would editing it to "to die the forces of the alliance" be okay?

Also, congrats on the being the new general code maintainer.

Apologies, I missed that the narrator lines were spoken by a character rather than the "standard" narrator. Completely my error, I was reading the WML while watching last night's stream and didn't watch for this line coming up in-game.
